Short-term memory is also known as working or active memory, which helps us read any given information, process, and retrieve at the spot. It has limited capacity and stores information for a limited period of time. This worksheet involves activities for short-term memory that is about digits forward and backward, doing some activities like these can improve short-term memory among elementary students. 

How will a worksheet for elementary students help?

This worksheet will help elementary students to use digits to improve working memory. It has two types of digits, one is repeating digits forward and the second is repeating digits backward. The digits are either 3 or 6 that will tell a person how much their short term memory can repeat at once since the capacity for short term memory is 7 or +-2 they can have a clear idea of how much their memory can store and retrieve through this worksheet.

Ask your child to repeat these digits first forward then backward, if they say it correctly then color the cloud green if they say it is the wrong color it is red.
