The wise brain is a Dialectical Behavioral therapy term coined by Marsha M. Linehan. It revolves around the concept of 3 minds: rational, emotional, and wise mind to depict an individual's thoughts and behaviors. The Wise Mind lies between the emotional and the rational brain. The emotional brain is dynamic, its decisions are based on our feelings, while the rational brain’s decisions are based on reality and practical reasons.
