What is Stress Thermometer Worksheet

Stress is a part of life; you can’t get rid of it. To deal with daily stress,  you need to learn different coping ways to effectively deal with your stress. Everybody experiences stress differently, emotionally and physically; some people get quiet in stressful situations while others get jittery. The stress Thermometer (DT) was developed as a simple tool to effectively screen for symptoms of distress. This instrument is a self-reported tool using a 0-to-10 rating scale. Additionally, the patient is prompted to identify sources of distress using a Problem List.

How will  Stress  Thermometer Worksheet Help?

It will help you know the signs, symptoms, and how your body reacts to certain situations while experiencing distress. This is a great tool to give your level of distress objectivity and a value so that they can be dealt with effectively. 

Instructions on how to use  Stress  Thermometer Worksheet

Take a blank sheet with a picture of the thermometer on it, divide the thermometer into three sections. At the start and the end, write 1-10 (1 showing no distress and 10 showing extreme distress).
