The personal view, or mental picture, that we have of ourselves is referred to as self-image. Self-image is an "internal dictionary" that describes one's own attributes, such as intelligence, beauty, ugliness, talent, selfishness, and kindness. Self-image therapy is given to those clients who think they are worthless, have low self-esteem, their self-image is corrected.
