What is the Responsibility Pie Worksheet?

Whenever a problem occurs often we tend to blame ourselves for most of the things that went wrong, we unconsciously put the whole blame on us. Responsibility Pie is a CBT activity, in which your distorted thinking and your inflated sense of responsibility is challenged.  It is a visual representation of the fact in there are certain things beyond your control and that it is not only your responsibility to take control of the things, even if you do there are certain things beyond your control and access, you can only control a small percentage of how you will react in  situation, not how others will react or do react. 

How will Responsibility Pie Worksheet help?

This is the worksheet to use whenever  you think of a situation that you are resentful about or that you feel guilty about,.This worksheet will help you to see the actual control you have over a situation not the one you have been thinking and imagining of. It is an exercise to make you understand that all negative situations can be said to occur as a result of the combination of three factors: Your own actions: action of others and then the other extraneous factors, over which you don’t have any control e.g luck, timing, weather, aliens, etc
