OCD obsessive-compulsive disorder is an anxiety disorder that involves repeated, unwanted thoughts and behaviors. A person suffering from OCD can not control their thoughts or behaviors, they repeatedly perform those behaviors to get rid of their anxious thoughts which affect daily functioning. The thoughts are known as obsessions and the behaviors are known as compulsions.  The identification of symptoms is the first step to manage this disorder.
