What is Judge: Thought Challenge Worksheet?

It is a technique of Cognitive behavioral therapy, in which the conflicting and irrational thoughts are put on trial. You provide evidence for and against it. The aim of these techniques is not to ‘think happy thoughts’ or to replace negative thoughts with positive ones, rather, it is to overcome biases and to think accurately.

How Judge: Thought Challenge Worksheet helps?

This worksheet is used in CBT to challenge irrational thoughts and replace them with positive thoughts, the Metaphor “Court trial” has been used to make the thought challenge process concrete and absolute. By practicing this you will be able to learn practically the ways to challenge your thoughts, it will help you to remove the common thinking errors that you tend to make usually. It will promote unbiased, free, and positive thinking.
