What is the Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills Handout Worksheet?

Interpersonal skills refers to the ability to connect and converse with people. In DBT we have various different techniques in it, there are different techniques that need to be mastered in order to learn effective communication skills.  The worksheet will help you to work on your interpersonal skills, self-respect, and positive relationships. In Dialectical behavioural therapy, it is believed that you can sort out any problem by learning effective communication. These are some of the self-help strategies for interpersonal effective communication that will help you to be  resilient enough to withstand any interpersonal conflicts.


How will Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills Handout Worksheet help?

The worksheets contain four different interpersonal effectiveness skills that are very helpful in learning effective communication. This model will teach you to be assertive rather than being aggressive. It will help you learn to attend to relationships, Balance priorities versus demands, Balance, and the 'wants' and 'shoulds.' Every exercise stands for different modules. E.g Acronym of FAST for self-respect effectiveness, GIVE is used for relationship effectiveness, and DEARMAN is used for being assertive.
