What is a cycle of anxiety worksheet?

Anxiety is a state of fear and nervousness which is provoked by certain things and situations. Anticipatory anxiety is the fear and disturbance you experience before the event. That fear leads to body symptoms like muscle tension, and stress etc. When a person encounters the negative event that predominates fear makes things worse which further reinforce his fear and beliefs regarding a particular event. This worksheet helps you know the changes that are required to counter the anxiety.

How will a cycle of anxiety worksheet help?

Anxiety has adverse impacts on a person's life. Some of the common symptoms are rapid heart rate, palpitations and chest pain. You may also be at an increased risk of high blood pressure and heart diseases. Moreover it affects your personal and social life. This worksheet helps you know the cyclic process of anxiety. This worksheet will show you the changes required on each level of a process to reduce the anxiety .

Anxiety is a vicious cycle, usually there is a fear or negative thoughts regarding an event. When that event occurs that fear leads to many undesired feelings, body symptoms and behaviors which negatively reinforce that fear for future events. In this way anxiety is reinforced and its occurrence in a person's life. To break this cycle we need to work on the basics e.g negative thoughts that lead to negative behavior. We have to address each level of a cycle to reduce the anxiety.
