What is the ABC for Voices (auditory hallucinations) Worksheet?

Auditory hallucinations are false perceptions of sound. They have been described as the experience of internal words or noises that have no real origin in the outside world and are perceived to be separate from the person's mental processes. Auditory hallucinations are  a sign of serious mental illness. The ABC model believes that how you perceive a situation will decide your actions and behaviours, it's not your situation which is wrong but your interpretation of the situation. Always consult a mental health professional, whenever you realize that you are hearing the voices that are not real and don't exist.

How will the ABC for Voices (auditory hallucinations) Worksheet?

Auditory hallucinations not only affects you mentally but also affects you physically, you get to experience a number of physical symptoms like palpitations, sweating and trembling. Hearing things that don't exist in your environment means that your contact to reality is compromised and you no longer can differentiate between right and wrong: and reality and fantasy. It is very important to write down the Activating event, behaviour and consequences , so that  a better picture can be gathered  to see the severity level of the illness.
